Why I created a Faith based store

Hello and welcome to Modern Grace! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Lucilia Leger and I’m a mom of three, passionate about God, fitness, and the beautiful journey of motherhood. I also work full-time, so like many of you, I’m always juggling multiple hats.

I created Modern Grace not just as a way to bring in extra income but also as a response to a deeper calling. With a background in fashion and tech, I originally ran a boutique at the mall for six years called Saige and Rose, where I sold trendy, worldly clothing. However, as my relationship with our Heavenly Father grew, I began to feel convicted about the store's direction. I wanted to offer clothing that reflected modesty and grace rather than the fleeting trends of the world.

Then, things took an unexpected turn. A large anchor store took over my original space, and the mall moved my boutique to a less favorable location. But the closer I got to God, the more I felt He was leading me to close Saige and Rose and begin something new, something that glorifies Him—Modern Grace.

Modern Grace is my way of combining my love for fashion with my faith, offering modern, modest clothing that honors God and celebrates who we are as women of faith. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I hope you find something here that speaks to both your style and your spirit!
